This liturgical ministry is one of the ways that children and teens can serve our parish family at Mass. Adults are also invited to participate in this ministry by serving for funeral Masses.

Music Ministry

Lift your voice to the Lord at Mass as a cantor! There is also an opportunity for children to participate in a Children’s Choir on Christmas Eve. Instrumentalists are also welcome.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers assist the priest in distributing the Sacred Body and the Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ at Mass. They also may assist with bringing Holy Communion to the sick and homebound outside of Mass.  Anyone interested in this ministry should talk with Sister Rosanne. Those interested must participate in a training session offered by the Diocese and will then receive an official mandate from the Bishop.

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God (the Sacred Scriptures) at Mass and other liturgical celebrations.

Ushers

This liturgical ministry involves interaction with the congregation at various liturgical celebrations. Ushers greet parishioners upon entering the church. They facilitate the collection during the Preparation of Gifts, invite families to carry up the gifts, assist with the procession during Holy Communion, and distribute bulletins after Mass has ended. Ushers are also available to assist members of the congregation with their needs by providing them with directions or answering questions.

Livestream Ministry

This ministry provides livestreaming of the 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass, which can be viewed live or anytime from the parish website.

Liturgical Preparations

This ministry carries out the special purification and cleaning of the linens used during Mass.
